Special Services Parent Seminar

The Olathe Public Schools Special Services Site Council will host a free seminar for parents of students with disabilities and exceptionalities. “Why Parent Involvement Matters and How to Support Learning at Home” is the topic of the Tuesday, Sept. 23 Zoom meeting. Join the Zoom presentation by 6:30 p.m.
Tabatha Rosproy, coordinator for the Kansas Parent Information Resource Center and 2020 National Teacher of the Year, will lead this insightful and educational presentation. She will share practical, research-based strategies and tips on understanding and assisting your child through play, navigating challenging behaviors, and developmental milestones from ages 3-21.
Parents, educators and advocates alike will gain valuable tools for engagement.
Anyone who needs a sign language or foreign language interpreter to participate must contact Sally Boyd at 913-780-8170 or email her before Sept. 18. There is no need to RSVP for the Zoom seminar.
